Applications Open for Summer 2026 Biology in Liverpool, England Study Abroad Program

The Biology in Liverpool, England Study Abroad program is sponsored by the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences. For a three-week term, students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the culture and history of Northwest England.

Students live and take courses in health and biotechnology at the University of Liverpool's campus. Students will enroll in two courses: one course is a comparative healthcare course taught be a UGA faculty member, and the other is a pharmaceutical lab course, taught by a Univerisity of Liverpool faculty member. Course activities include tours and simulations at some of the University of Liverpool's medical facilities such as the School of Medicine, the School of Veterinary Science, the School of Dentistry, and the School of Allied Health Professions & Nursing. In addition to instruction, these courses will include additional site visits and guest lectures from experts in Liverpool.
